End of the year tips?

Hey guys here is one of my better jumps from practice.
I'm a junior, 5'4" 145 pounds on a 13'7" 155 Spirit holding at 12'6". Bungee is at 12'10" and my standards are at 31.5. I ended up blowing through this pole at our district meet the next day, but I do have a 14' 155 pacer to move to I got some good jumps on today.

Just looking for a little advise on my jumps, If anything catches your eye that I should improve.

Thanks! :)

I would say your pole drop could be alittle smoother, if you look at the video there is a small hitch were you lower it then pause and then extend your arms. So maybe try to start your drop alittle later that way it's one smooth motion and it wont slow you down. Other then that to me it looks like a pretty could vault, I'm sure the more experienced guys will have other things to say but that's all I can see

The plant is very late... I'd recommend lots of jogging 3 step plants. That'll also help with the smoothness issue.

Wait. So you are only gripping on a 13'7 pole up to 12'6? If you are blowing through with a grip of 12'6 just simply move your grip up a couple inches at a time.

It is a UCS Spirit pole so the maximum grip is 13ft. And when I hold there it seems to be too soft and feels like mush. Holding at 12'6 made it a bit stiffer.

Can you further elaborate on my late plant? It seems my plant is out and ready two steps before the plant. Do I need to be dropping earlier?

It starts out pretty much on time... But then there's this big pause as you bring it up past your head. If you didn't hitch like that it would be right on time or close to it.

It also seems like you're carrying the pole way to the right side of your body... Moving your left hand more towards your center might help your plant as well.
