If you watch my august 14th vault, you will notice that my bottom elbow is on the left side of the pole when I try to invert.
I watched a lot of other people who could invert vault, and I noticed that their elbow is on the inner side of the pole(closer to their body). I also noticed that their pole turns sideways after the plant allowing them to put their elbow on the inner side of the pole.
My pole doesn't turn and I can't get my elbow in the innerside of the pole.
Is this hurting my inversion? How do I fix this?
hey sorry for bumping this thread, but I didn't wanna make a new one. Could someone please answer those questions?
Indoor track has started, but we haven't been able to take out the mats yet. So I've been working mostly on my run. However, I don't think I understand how poles turn when people vault? I read in another thread you're not suppose to do any pulling, so how does the pole turn?
Edit* here is basically what my jump looks like now

Also do you think my hips come forward too much?
