13'6 inch grip on 14' 165 flex 18.4 sky pole carbon standards on 60 cm 34' mid, could he jump on 14'7 160 ucs 22.0 flex 2 inches cut off bottom

I can only answer the part about the 2 inches cut off the bottom ...

That shouldn't make much difference at all - hardly noticeable.

Why was it cut off? Wore the plug out but kept vaulting? It does make a loud sound when this happens, which is a very good signal that you better stop jumping on it til the plug is replaced!

Also, I hope you filed down the sharp edges when you cut it off, else it will cut thru the new plug quite quickly.

I know this isn't what you were asking, so I hope someone else with more experience with those particular poles can answer your REAL question.
