The Swing To Extension of the hips

I am having some trouble keeping my swing leg straight and when i do i cant seem to continue my swing very long. I normally end up in a tuck and shoot . But even when i do that i have trouble keeping my hips moving. I know the drills to do off the pole, but my main question is what muscle groups or other anatomical things are used in order to keep this movement fluid. I also have trouble with relaxing my shoulders as my upper body tends to come up. If you want to see my videos they are on youtube, my channel is THEupANDcomer1.
