Good Vault for a 9th grader?

I was just wondering what is a good height for a 9th grade pole vaulter?

The record is about 15'6" or higher :eek:

a good vault for a freshman would be somewhere around 12' 6"...in my opinion....of course it depends on your definition of good..12' 6" would set you up to probably around a 15 foot vaulter by the end of HS....probably, but that all depends on teh person and when you peak and fill out, etc etc etc...the list goes on.

wow. last year was my first year pole vaulting (i was a 9th grader) and i only made starting height.. so yeah :( :deadrose: if you think you did good then thats all that really matters... but thats just my opinion :confused:

a good vault for a 9th grader is 10'6... but thats around where i live. The junior high distric qualifing is 8'6.. high school is 10ft..from where i live. And state qualifing is 13ft. I jumped 11'9 in 9th grade..i was ranked 1st in the distric :P . But keep on trying. You want to spend more time off the runway doing drills than being on the runway. A 2:1 ratio. :D
