getting my hips stuck?

Unread postby trayoates » Thu May 19, 2011 6:09 pm

my PR is 12'6", and i've gotten that out of pure luck. my coach who jumped with earl bell tells me i need to drive more with my right knee while keeping my legs seperated, and trailing with my left leg. but everytime i try to do what he says i just get stuck in an "L" position and cant get fully inverted. at the moment im jumping on a 13'9" 175 (which i blow through), and a 14' 170 (which i just got on today). i usually run from a 5 or 6 step for a full vault, and i just need some suggestions on how to get my hips up and fully inverted.
