New pole? not a good idea.,?

New pole? not a good idea.,?

aight so i m about 134-136 lbs using a ucs 12' 1.5" / 3.70m. 130lbs .. I want to clear 10 before the year ends. should i move up? I feel as though im bending the pole too much and not getting anywhere up....

If you are bending the pole a lot but not rotating very deep, lower your grip a fist at a time until you are clearing the bar with the standards all the way back (31.5").

If you are knocking off the bar on the way up with the standards all the way back, landing deep in the pit, and bending the pole a lot, then you are ready for a bigger pole.

Since you weigh over 130, I recommend using an 11'6 140.
