vaulting at practice and carrying it over into meets

vaulting at practice and carrying it over into meets

so I always do really well at practice and during warmups at meets, but usually when the bar goes up i start running slower and i have a really weak takeoff. does anyone have any advice on how to fix this? ive cleared 12/ 12'6" at practice, but i haven't gone any higher than 11'3" at meets. any advice is appreciated im really frustrated

Spend some of your practice time going over a crossbar instead of a bungee.
