Unread postby LogIc » Wed May 16, 2007 9:23 am

so i have been polevaulting colse to 2 years now, and my form needs to be worked on a little bit... :P to say the least, anways, when i drive i waws told that keeping you other leg (not your drive leg) strate will help you swing up more efficiently. i am not sure what to think, i have been practicing this, and it doesnt seem to make a diforence for me, just need some more imput on it,

thanks

Yes, and its usually called a "straight trail leg". I cant count how many other posts there have been about this same subject, and if you use the search feature you can find out why it is that a straight trail leg is better than a tucked one. But definitely do what your coaches say, even if you dont understand it, because they have your best interests in mind.
