Swinging to the bar

Unread postby mei » Mon May 02, 2011 9:01 pm

Whenever the bar is up, I look at iit and swing just high enough to clear it each time. The problems is that I look at the bar and don't swing up all the way. I have been stuck at 9 feet for a very long time.. I just always look at the bar and stop swinging. In practice I can practically get 10 feet with a hunger at 12 ft. I've been getting better so I'm close to 9'6" with my "swingingto the bar ". What can I do to stop myself from looking at the big yellow bar and swinging to it?

Try practicing with a real crossbar up, and a bungee 2 feet higher. Focus on getting your feet over the bungee every time.
