Hosted by Coach Dave Emeott, the event is a fund raiser in the memory of a former vaulter, Alex Mirandette, who was tragically killed in a terrorist bombing in Egypt a short two years ago. Alex's legacy lives on through a scholarship, funded by this event, open to pole vaulters. This year's scholarship winner was Abby Shanahan.

In typical Pole Vault Family response, there was a fantastic turnout.
