Yeah last summer. 9 Pits and about 300 or so people with two dedicated coaches per group. They split up the guys and the highest group was 13' + and we had about 12 vaulters in it. Was worth the money for sure.

I haven't seen any 12'6" jumps from the Ovid girl. She is listed on the honor roll at 9'6"(which was up to date as of last week). Where has she jumped this??

Ovid-Elsie is northeast of Lansing.

Grand Ledge's Jackie Clark cleared 11'6" last night crushing a 13'150 (holding down at 12'). We're getting her ready to look at 14ft poles this week and next.

www.grandhavenbeachvault.com has a pretty good ranking list. Appears to be updated through yesterday afternoon.

Couple more girls results...

Unread postby HHSPVCoach » Thu May 12, 2005 12:51 pm

Katie Shaw (Lakeview) 11'7.5" (was supposed to be 12', but they measured afterwards to find that the standards were 4.5" low!)

Lisa Sonntag (Saginaw Nouvel) 11'3" (3 days after hitting an 11 footer)

Carly Schiffer (Ovid-Else) 10'6" And that's as high as she's gone. sorry, no 12'6" there. Lots of potential though.

And to think these are all Div 3 vaulters! Way to go girls!

Coach Phil
