That was only a partial start list. They expect to see 75-100 late entries that won't be on that list....

Hey folks, for those of you who still aren't sick of pole vaulting (does that ever happen?) don't forget the Street Vault in Bay City on August 6th! It's being held at the Labadie Pig Gig, a huge 4-day event including ribs cookoffs, eating contests, big name concerts, and much more! Coach Patterson, of the Beach Vault fame, has been nice enough to help me out with our event. the website says that official results come out tomorrow (tuesday the 19th)

First of all, I want to thank all the people who made this event possible. It was, without a doubt, the finest event we have had. The pole vault "family" that came out was truly amazing...people from all over the U.S. with a common bond--jump out of their mind. The weather was great, plus a 5-10mph tailwind. Over 200 vaulters gave it their best. Thank you to all who attended, and for those who might attend next year!
In addition to full results, a 2 Disc DVD is available that contains all jumps from each day will be available on Tuesday.
