Just wondering if there are places to eat at the event center or do we have to bring food with us?
Thanks

There are perfectly respectable restaurants in the Nugget as well as alternatives across various streets.

I thought the event center is not anywhere near the Nugget. Is food available at the Event Center?

Most people call it the Livestock Arena. They had concessions on Saturday, I think I got some edible chicken strips. I don't think the concessions were open on Friday, but the kids were given a lunch break to eat lunch at the hotel.
It never hurts to have a snack with you.

Whoops. I thought the OP meant the Nugget.
Concessions were open last year in the Livestock Arena, but it wasn't very good. There's a Denny's a short distance down the street.

We are going to bring food and snacks. Last year there was a foot of snow on the ground and cold to be walking. Also the prices at the livestock arena were really high and the food was not that good.

Just to define "short distance", it's 0.4 miles to Denny's from the Livestock Arena and 1.4 miles to the Nugget.
