Good survey, I wish the people who televise track meets here in the states paid attention to the results of this :yes:

Thank you. I've been in contact with those who organize the US broadcasts and they are in the process of making changes. For instance if you watched the 5k and both steeple races they only showed a few laps and cut to other events and/or athlete stories/interviews. I've been told that European meet broadcasts are government funded and have more cameras and basically more ability to cut from one thing to another much easier. I suggested that USATF post a survey on their web site, but it appears that our voice is overshadowed by not enough cameras/tv trucks/funding. I'm really interested in people's view on the stories behind the athletes though.
