I had not expected Shawn to compete so early after his Pan Am Games 5.80 gold medal clearance.
He continues to amaze me (as well as most other PV fans around the world) by consistently upping his Canadian record. 5.93 is a fantastic height to clear just 4 days after the Pan Ams, and he's now back to being the 2nd highest vaulter this year!

This was posted at 11:04 AM today (presumably CDT time), so the PV event must have finished just a couple hours ago! RG, you're apparently wide awake!
