Monticalvo leaps 4.80m to win National Games. He leapt 5.10m at Div 2 state champs in Colorado.

Monticalvo secures one of two spots to the SEA Games the standard is 4.70m bronze last sea games. Other spot goes to Either Julio Alorro (pb 4.91, 4.82), EJ Obiena 4.54 or Jerome Margallo (pb 4.64) both Alorro and Margallo NH at the National Games.

Buenaventura must hit 3.90 to qualify for SEA Games she leapt 3.80 at National Games. But cleared 3.90 once last year and during the last sea games to finish fourth on countback.
