I doubt that is a very accurate list at the lower heights, I am sure the numbers for North America are much higher.
In my database at athletic.net I have over 600 girls at 3.50 or better, and I know our lists are not complete for HS, and do not include unattached and post-collegiate athletes, so there are probably at least 50-100 more than that in the US.
For men I've got 483 in my database, same limitations as above, except I would guess there are another 100-150 in the US.
