Amazing stuff indeed! I suppose it has yet to be ratified but Steve Hookers 6.06m now supersedes Dimas 6.05m. Can helping pointing out that OZ now has two of the top three in the all time world rankings - I apologise for doing this but I still remember a famous US coach asking me in Reno a few years ago after I had done a presentation there, "Do you have any vaulters in Australia'?

Roger keeps separate lists for indoor and outdoor marks. Even though Hooker's 6.06 is the official Aussie record, it wouldn't be on this list.

I thought Steve jumped 6.06 indoors? This is an outdoor list. But your right Alan Australia is doing incredible things in the vault

hi guys! thats amazing to see all the national records in one list!
my goal this year is to be on that list !!!!! our national record is a very very old one, Algeria havent hade a good pole vaulter for a while, its 5m34 and it was done in 1979 ,thirty years ago.
so for me 5m35 will be enough this year

Since I've never learned how to post tabular data on PVP, I limited the info I posted for the national records lists. The lists I file are on Appleworks/Excel spreadsheets. Since they do contain additional information about when and where the record was set, I'll try sending the entire file, even if it means some difficult reading. A new problem with my Mac is that it wants to change about half the dates from my preferred format of year-month-day to month/day/year and won't let me change all to one or the other, as it has in the past. I'll just have to ask you to bear with that.
