Lots of great marks! According to the meet site, in addition to being a WL for Mensil, it is also a NR for Gibilisco and a SB for Hysong, Strogalev, and Ptacek.

And that would be a world record for short pegs, right? :P

I saw the meet on CBUT on Saturday. They only showed Mesnil's 5.92 jump. Looked pretty good. Had a little height on it. CBUT seems able to show every event except for the vault. I mean I saw 20 attempts in the HJ so why not the same for PV?

And the ladies set a new WR with them - even rattled the bar good according to reports - so - looks like the IAAF will just say look see - might as well figure the pegs are here to stay - at least it is not a platform like the HJ - then it would be a real different sport - plus a real bear to put up
