Doping Rule Violation
The International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) has been informed by the Ukrainian Athletic Federation (UAF) that the male athlete, Oleksandr KORCHMID, has been found guilty of the following doping violation under IAAF Rules:
Presence of the prohibited substance Ephedrine (S6. Stimulants) in his doping control sample (IAAF Rule 32.2a)
This doping violation relates to a sample collected in-competition on 15.02.09 at the Pole Vault Stars meeting held in Donestsk, Ukraine
In conformity with the IAAF Rules, the UAF has imposed the following sanction for a first violation:
• Public Warning
• Disqualification of all results of 15.02.09
This information has been added to the 2009 List of Anti-Doping Rule Violations which can be found on the IAAF website in the anti-doping statistics section.
