In heavy rain she cleared two bars in her first attempt, 4.40 and 4.60. She then tried 4.71 but it was not the day for top results:

I'm guessing it wasn't very warm either. That sounds miserable. The life of a pro!

Actually it was warm "enough" (around 65). A "not in his best shape" Usain Bolt managed to run 200 meter in 19.86 sec, indicating that the conditions was relatively good.
In addition, those who want to do well in London next year can just start training in this kind of weather.
