I'm disappointed that it's not Chicago, but Rio should be great! They'll have nice spring weather...

well america had an olympics not to long ago so what are ya gonna do. South america should be an awesome culture shock for the games.

When was the last one in Central or South America? Was that Mexico?

I would have loved Chicago but I think South America has been long overdue for one.

I don't think it's so bad that the US has to wait a bit for the next one, sometimes the wait makes everything better.

Last time I checked, Mexico was part of North America.
