Dennison needed that 2nd try clearance. It would have moved her up from 15th to 10th.

So if Isinbayeva makes 4.60, there will be exactly 12 women at 4.50 or better for the final.

LOL from the BBC:
0523: Kate Dennison fails on her third attempt at 4.50m in the pole vault. Although it's her best effort outdoors this season, she's down in 14th place and her chances of making the final are about as likely as me jumping 4:50m with a stick celery in my hands
