I would like to hear from anyone who might have torn their biceps vaulting, had it surgically repaired, then went back to vaulting.
I have completed the first 2 steps. And I will perform the third in about 12 months.

Well this is an interesting statement.
Maybe some of the other coaches could answer how with correct technique you could pull your bicep.
Was it on your top arm or bottom arm?
either way making a pulling action with your bicep espically of your top arm is not exactly what any vaulter should be doing at all.
I wish you luck and fix your vaulting and or the way you were lifting.

George, I am sorry to hear that you are hurt so badly, and yes, you can come back from a biceps tear. I once coached a kid to 14'6" who did not have a bicep in his left arm.
I can't help but comment that many of your posts seem to show an attitude of recklesness that will inevitably lead to injuries not matter what your age may be. Perhaps an adjustment in your approach to the sport would help.
