if you wiegh 136 pounds you need to be getting in 136 grams of protien a day. and not just from protien powders. you should be eating 4-6 small meals daily.... uve gotta be lifting ... but best bet is instead of asking online about it .. get yourself a personal trainer at the gym. and make sure your training for explosion.

Especially for lifting power moves are always helpful, theres a whole power training thing on menshealth.com that ive found helpful

That sums it up right there. Better yet, get with a pole vault coach who can give you the workouts he/she used in college!
