The 2012 LoJo Vault Assault Summer Camp is a four day pole vault camp beginning Thursday, July 5th, 2012 - Sunday, July 8th, 2012 in Columbia, SC. The VA Camp will provide vaulters of all levels an opportunity to expand their pole vault skills with LoJo and the Vault Assault Camp staff in small group sessions for individualized attention.
Campers will be separated into groups to learn and experience drills and training in sprint mechanics, pole carry and drop mechanics, gymnastics, and of course pole vaulting. Each full day of activities includes 3 training sessions, residential camper accommodations at the Inn at USC, meals*, coaching/training seminars, access to "private coaching", and random social activities.
The LoJo Vault Assault Winter Pole Vault Camp is limited to 30 vaulters. LoJo Vault Assault Camp is open to any and all entrants (limited only by number).
Why Attend LoJo Vault Assault Camps?
The LoJo Vault Assault Pole Vault Camps introduces a more efficient pole vault technique than what has been utilized through traditional American pole vaulting. Vault Assault Campers will gain an understanding and experience for many incorrectly presented terms and concepts including; free drop, free take off, inversion vs. rock back, etc. Additionally, VA campers will be introduced to exercises to train and reinforce physical and mental skills required for improved pole vault performance.
The small group size insures each camper will have his or her specific needs met.
Campers attending Vault Assault Camps receive continued assistance and guidance via Vault Assault Online to improve new drill and exercise retention.
The LoJo Vault Assault Camp is a learning experience for athletes/coaches. Boys and girls of any age can enroll. Our staff will teach, demonstrate, and share with you drills, mechanics, and training tips to help you progress to a new level of excellence.
The VA Pole Vault Camp hosts an experienced staff of proven instructors who can provide hands on guidance for each skill. Sessions begin and end with campers engaging in full execution of coached exercises and drills.
