Rush County Fair Pole Vault Meet - June 18th, 2011 - Rushville, Indiana
The third annual Rush County Fair Pole Vault Meet will be held June 18th in Memorial Park in Rushville, Indiana. For those of you who came the last couple of years, this is a different location. The meet will be held south of Rushville Consolidated High School in the city park. We will be directly south of the football field, at the corner of 11th Street and Sexton Street.
The meet will start at noon. This is a very laid-back type of meet. We hope to see vaulters of many different ages and abilities. For now the schedule will be as follows:
High School and Masters Women - Noon
Elite Women - 1:00 PM
Elite Men - 3:00 PM
High School and Masters Men - 5:00 PM.
That schedule may change as the week goes on and we get a better idea of the numbers we will have. We will post back here any changes there may be. Otherwise, we will try to stick closely as possible to the above schedule.
You may register and pay your registration fee for the meet online at http://www.polevaultmeets.com. If you register this way, please shoot us an e-mail with your opening heights and PR so we wil know where to place you. Our e-mail address is polevaultmeets@yahoo.com. Or if you prefer to pay the day of the meet, please shoot us an e-mail with that information to let us know you are coming.
Raffle tickets will also be sold at this meet as well as on http://www.polevaultmeets.com for a chance to win a UCS Spirit pole, a UCS cross bar, two hours of pole vault coaching at Vault High Athletics, 1 of 2 Gill poles, or 12 training sessions at Acceleration Indiana. The drawing of the raffle tickets will take place at the Indiana State Fair Pole Vault Meet on August 13th.
