What:
Foundation HP offers a one of a kind preseason training program for vaulters in San Diego county. Our program is designed to help you train to be the best vaulter you can be using a comprehensive approach to making better pole vaulters.
Our program consists of:
*Teaching a system of drills and skills vaulters can take back to school with them in the spring
*Speed & Power development for pole vaulters
*Felxibility & Mobility training for better performance
*Strength Training for the pole vault (not football)
*Basic gymnastic skills for better vaulting
*Mental skills: pre-competition routine for better performances
*And more!
Athletes can choose to train 2 to 4 days a week. We use our Foundation Performance Screen to look for weak links in your body, then build an individualized training plan around that. Not every training plan is the same. Everybody is a little different, so our training plans are too.
The Pole Vault Preseason Program has produced many of the top vaulters in San Diego County. It produced the two-time California State Champion in the girls division for 2009-2010. In 2010 San Diego CIF, three of the four division winners trained in our program. Lastly, in 2010, we had a 100% improvement rate for the athletes who participated in the program.

Re: San Diego Preseason Pole Vault Program
Oh very cool!
I have actually had the privilege to sit down and talk with coach LoBue on multiple occassions and the man clearly knows his stuff. To me what really stands out is his ability to build POLE VAULTER type athletes. so many coaches get hung up on the wrong kinds of running and lifting for this sport. Get obsessed with benching 350 lbs when they cant clean their body weight, or not training in a sprint oriented manner! i haven't spoken with him about some of the other aspects but the people that have trained with him have nothing but good things to say about their results. Definitely a worthwhile program to check out!
