Leon Roach Vaultathon Feb 13 UCSD (CA)

You may have heard that we are having a vault competition on February 13 in memory of Leon Roach. This is at the request of Leon’s family. The meet will kick-off a fundraising campaign to enhance the pole vault facility at UC San Diego (spectator seating area, and landscaping to help the wind). The meet is already up on Directathletics http://www.directathletics.com/meets/track/13927.html I am hoping you will help spread the word.

The Vault-A-Thon was a great success!!!
The event raised over $15,000 dollars for UCSD Pole Vault. They plan on building stands by the pole vault so people can actually watch the pole vault and a new marquee for the track as well.
