Concordia has a long tradition of pole vault excellence. Concordia vaulters have taken dozens of All-American places at the NAIA National Championships. Of those All-Americans 15 have been national champions. The men’s school record is over 18’ and the women’s is 12’6”. Our pole vault camps are designed to help the beginning to intermediate vaulter with a boys and girls camp offered. The coaching staff will evaluate each vaulters current technique, strengths, and weaknesses, then provide feedback to help improve each campers vault. There will be a strong focus on pole carry, approach, take-off, and much more. There will be numerous drills taught including underwater vaulting. The camps are two day camps with overnight housing available.
