San Diego State’s answer to the Pole Vault Summit is growing! This summer’s series will feature 4 pits with 8 competitions, with plans for a 5th pit in 2011. The 6 Friday meet series kicks off June 4 with start times at 3:30pm and 5:30pm continuing each Friday through July . (There will be no meet June 25.) Check http://www.aztrack.com for height starting times, as well as updates and results.

Entry fee is $10, or watch some amazing jumping for free! Come cheer your favorite superstar jumpers as well as many emerging superstars. Stadium seating is available very close to the runways. Easy parking is available under the stadium.

Results are posted for the first two Friday night meets at aztrack.com. The next FNV is Friday, June 18. Hamburgers, G2 Gatorade and water will be available starting at 6:00 pm. Nike DriFit T-Shirts are available for purchase. Come out and enjoy a great family atmosphere and outstanding competitions.

This Friday, July 9th, during the 5:30 pm edition of the vault competition, all High School vaulters from the graduating Class of 2010 and younger are eligible for the Friday Night Clovis Street Vault.

You must register and notify at the time of entry you are competing for the Clovis Street Vault.

NAPVA representative, Mike LoBue will be selecting the TOP 2 BOY and TOP 2 GIRL vaulters to represent the San Diego region as “Team San Diego” for a 5 region competition in Clovis, CA on August 6th. The other regions are L.A., Central Valley, New Orleans-LA, Northern California and San Diego.
