Unread postby difallstar » Wed Oct 04, 2006 7:19 pm

im a sophmore, i weigh 140, im jumping on a 12'6 150 pacer from four lefts holding at 11. my height is 5'6. PR from 4 lefts=11'

my drive is fine. my problem is after i keep my chest foward and move the pole to vertical, i feel as if my swing is too slow. i dont think that i am getting to vertical so i can pull on the pole. any advice on how to speed my swing up?

thanx

Look up Barto's replies to recent threads. He had one where he mentioned that a complete invertion probably won't happen holding under 12'6" on a pole. Based on what you are writing, you are jumping 8 inches over your grip which for 11', ain't all that bad. Based again on what Barto wrote, as you gain speed and increase grip that grip efficiency will increase to where an inversion will become more apparent. Keep in mind though, that a higher grip comes in "inches" or "fingers" at a time rather than "fists" or "feet" at a time. Remember, keep it safe and techically correct and in control to where you ALWAYS land in the PLZ. Later..........Mike
