Summer is here and I have completed my first college track season. Over the summer I plan of getting faster and stronger. But the problem is I only have 2 poles I can use and really need to finally get on a 15'. Is it ok to practice all summer on these 14's until school starts again were I have 15' poles?

of course. you can always work on your form on these shorter poles as well as start jumping on poles well over your weight.

Definately get on poles that are more than you weight. In the beginning of this season I was getting on a 14' 190 and worked up thru a 15' 180, 15' 185, and now i'm on a 16'1" 185. Short poles that are stiff and big weights are good training
