Left Handed Pole Vaulter Needs Help?

Hey I'm new to pole vaulting, i'm a high school junior and its my first year pole vaulting...problem is i'm left handed and no one else is...are there pole vaulters I could watch and maybe pick up some tips from?...i'm 145 and I use a 15' 145lb pole...my best is 8'...if any one has any suggestions or tips I would greatly appreciate it.

im a lefty vaulter too, and i never had a problem learning from righty vaulters. you just gotta get used to switching it in your head. if you someone drive with their right knee, make an automatic note to your self to drive with your left. i also always switch what my coahc tells me. he'll say things for a righty vaulter and i just know he means the opposite.

Always remember you are a choosen one. You are vaulting the correct way and everyone else does it backwards. Imagine how high Bubka could have jumped if only he would have been a lefty....

In truth all the fundamentals are the same you can learn just as much from a righty.
