Getting used to new speed

Unread postby nacboy » Sun Apr 23, 2006 9:48 am

the last couple days ive been toying around with a 7-step aproach...WOW! Im a lot faster and im penetrating the pit a ton more, the problem is that things are happening so fast now that i dont have time to think about what i need to do while im in the air. I'm sure this is fairly common....anybody have some advice on getting used to this new speed?

i had the same problem, it takes practice to get used to the new speed, sometimes i would just try to focus on on thing a session, like a part of my plant or some part of the swingthrough, once that part started feeling natural i would move to another part of my vault.

if you're going through the pole too quick with a faster run and bending it too much, then maybe your pole isn't strong enough for you. but only if that's your problem, otherwise disregard this. :) (that was my problem a while ago)
