I am having a really hard time hitting my mark.... and i can not get in the air really till i hit my mark becuase i keep on locking up.... does anyone have any advice?????? :( [/b]

I am 5'4 and i am 150 pounds, 16 years old.... i am very athletic... i am a soccer goalie and have done gymnastics in the past.......

sorry i think that i left out some things... i am using a 130 pole till my school gets my 150 in...... i am holding about 6 or 7 inches fomr the top of the pole and i think that it is a 11 foot pole!

well...do some scatter grams....a scatter gram is where u go on the track(not the runway but the actual track) with a pole in your hand you take ur first normal step then u mark it then u it 2 more times and make sure u hit that mark everytime then u do it again but u go to ur second left and so on and so on....it might help give u a constant run.....and just some advice for when ur jumping dont even worry about it...dont lock in on it lock in on the box and trying to take off instead
