Getting back after 1st season

Unread postby JTred » Fri Nov 04, 2005 5:57 pm

I finished my first season of pv last year, went to pv camp at slippery rock and had a blast and got a lot better. I haven't vaulted since then though. I do a few drills occasionally in my room when i get bored, bu thats it. Indoor is coming up, and I was wondering if anyone had any trouble getting back into pole vault mode after the summer and fall offseason. What should I do to try to get my mind and body ready again for pole vaulting. I've been playing soccer since the middle of soccer and will continue until indoor starts, so I dont think my legs will have a problem. Do you think I'll have a problem or will i just get right back into it?

If you have access to any kind of high bar or rings, swinging on them might be a little bit helpful.
