I live in New Jersey, right now the weathers not all that bad its around 60 and sunny when I jump. Its also kinda windy sometimes. But getting to my point, I feel like I am not running as fast, I have to put an other step on my run to get on the same pole as I do indoors. I think it might be that i'm having some transition problems, it the first year that I have jumped all year round. Anyone else having the same problem? Any suggestions?

ummm YES..
. most of it is because of stupid wind, both my outdoor meets so far wev had a 20 mph+ headwind GRRRR so of course i jumped like complete s***. So i guess im havign a hard time adjusting to outside conditions again, I havnt learned what exactly do do with a head wind yet.. The cold doesnt help much either.

i've also been having some trouble transitioning to the outdoor season and facing some brutal headwinds. what i did to deal with the headwind was to move down a pole. i had been vaulting on a 12'135 indoor but i wasn't getting enough penetration when vaulting into the wind, so i switched to my 12'125, which i still weigh under
. the 125 worked better, although i was disappointed to have to move down a pole. i'm hoping i will be able to get back on the 135 before too long...

Yeah thats a good thign to do, but we had a wind so bad today in a meet i had to vault from 4 lefts, gripping 12' feet on a 14' 160.. (i normally jump on a 15' 170, or 14-6 180)
