i just started and need help

im in 11th grade i just began pole vaulting about 2-4 weeks ago. i have never been to or have had a coach i can jump 7'6" and can almost make 8'. i wanted to know if i should continue doing what im doing or go see a coach because in not sure if im good enough(soo far) . any advice or help would be appreciated. and is what im jumping now good, considering im starting off

It never hurts to check with a coach. I know I wouldn't be where I am today with out a coach

go see a coach! you can never know if your good of if you're not if you dont try with proper tecnique and poles. Also, vaulting alone could be dangerous if you get higher...go see a coach and you could really improve...good luck!

yes , u definitally want a coach. because a couple times my coach has had to do things so id have to vault a bit by myself. its alot easier to tell someone else what they are doing wrong but when u cant see urself then its really hard to tell what ur arent doing right, and if ur new u may not know alot about it. so ya a coach can help alot.

...yeah this is vital especially when considering genders, boys can ussually "garbage" out heights that girls normally have to be pretty experienced to do...
