I am once again trying another new pole because i am to big and fast for the one i have now (it doesnt really fling me up to high any more) so i am going up in weight and height. I have herd that the longer the pole the harder it is to bend for the weight. Is that true?

the longer the pole the easier to bend. Especially if you are moving up to another pole. the thing is you have to as fast as you go on your best vaults or even faster. stalling is not an option.

Yeah... longer poles are not going to be easier to bend, unless they are significantly softer.
Check out this chart when trying to decide the next pole

When moving to a longer pole
www.therightpole.com
You should be jumping at or over your handgrip before moving up and on at least 10-15 lbs over your weight so you can move to a longer pole at or slightly above your weight.
If you practice this now and not try to cut corners by jumping 10 foot holding 13'6" on a 14' pole you will become a better jumper faster and will jump higher.
We make poles in 6" increments and each is 8 lbs stiffer as you go up
Example 13' 140 is equal to a 13'7"-132
If you weigh 130 and you hold near the top and you jump on a 13-140 at or above your handgrip moving to a 13'7"-132 will work very effectively for you.
Any questions?
