I can't jump

I need some help here! When i take my approch, and I plant, I do not jump up. I sag down and rely on my pole to do all the work. I need help here. It is affecting my preformances, if anyone can help me please drop me some love, thank you

Try practicing the long jump for awhile.

not only that, but start with just 2 or 4 step long jumps, and very slowly work your way back.

don't jump too high.. they say 17 degrees is best, and that isn't exactly a vertical jump..

It varies depending on your height though.

Have someone check your step. You may be taking off under or out. You might also be planting your heel at take-off and not jumping off the ball of your foot.

i'm just curious who are " THEY" that says a 17 degree angle at take off is best???

try doing sliding box drills and when you jump at take off try to land on your other foot (not the one you jumped off of). it helps me i don't know if it will help you?
