I got a slight problem. When I polevault, most of the time I slide down the pole (anywhere from a few inches to a whole feet) Is anyone else having this problem? Are there exersies I can do to improve my finger strength or grip? Is that the problem at all?
Any assistence would be apreciated

No.
Drop your grip two fists and work on jumping up at takeoff and not taking off under. You are probably just holding too high for where your technique/physical ability level is right now.

If that doesn't work, buy some adhesive (lighter fluid, friction tape, etc.) and those squeeze handly thingies... but Becca's probably right, you're just overgripping.

If you have enough fingerstrength to do high bar work, then Becca is definately right. Your brain does not feel that your gripheight is safe, and automatically adapts.
Work your way UP the pole. Not down. IOW. Grip low at the beginning, and heighten until you can still maintain grip and still make it to the mat with a reasonable amount or polespeed (with the standards put around 70-80).
Tape, adhesive, magnesium will help you maintain grip, but the above advice should go first (tape on the pole at the height you are gripping is advisable).
