Unread postby txpolevaulter_k25 » Wed Mar 19, 2008 6:22 pm

I am jumping on a 14' 1 162.8 holding at or a little below 13'6 and jumping 14'. I wiegh 140. Should I go up to a 14' 7 pole, and about what wieght should I get? a 150-160? I know always go with power before length, but i think it is time.

i would make sure that you can hold 13 10 on that 14 1 pole... You should usually go up length when you run out of grip on the pole

Don't change height AND weight if you don't have to. But nitro said it pretty well... don't move up if you've still got room. If you need to, just move up weight. You'll get the same feeling if you move up your grip a little on a heavier pole as if you bought a longer pole with the same weight rating and held down on it. Definitely don't buy anything yet.

Ok, I will try to load some videos today. The only ones I have are into a head wind and I am not blowing through it though.
