tucking the trail leg

Unread postby coachknight » Mon Mar 17, 2008 3:15 pm

I have a young vaulter who tucks the trail leg after take-off. Im looking for some good drills to help with the trail leg. If anyone has any drills to help with this I would appreciate it.

Search for 'trail leg'. Highbar is a good place to start.

well one drill would be a simple 1-2 step jump just focusing on keep trail leg straight, and another jump would be a stay down drill.
