Well i'm like UBER new at this, so don't really take my advice to seirously but i always go to full extension with my arms right when my pole hits box, but not like jabbing, just to a full extension, once again i'm wicked new so don't take my word as advice.

that is what i though, but i never get good extension, but when you go early it's jabbing but i have seen jabbing work for for 13'

what i workde out earlier is i'll do seven lefts.
1-2 pole upright
2-4 lower pole
5 pole parallel at about head height
6 extension
7 plant/takeoff

I'm sure someone else will explain this better, but you should not have full extention before you plant. Your amrs should be pressing out and up at the same time your pole hits the back of the box. On your second to last step (the "penultimate" step) your top arm should be by your ear like you're talking on a phone, and your bottom arm should be around your upper chest/neck in front of you. As you take your takeoff step, press both arms up and out. Try not to lock your bottom arm because that can complicate the swing by causing you to block out. Press witn your bottom arm. Your top arm is the pivit point through the first phase and beginning your swing, so it sould be straight.
