Time for a New Pole ?

pole length - 12 foot
pole weight - 130
my weight - 120
pr on pole - 11 feet
from 6 lefts, is it time for me to get on another pole? possibly a 13 footer

Where are you gripping? Where were the standards when you cleared 11'?

You almost certainly will need a new pole at some point. You are young and still growing and still improving your technique.

im holding right below the weight rating sticker and my standards are kept at 23 but yeah you are right ... i have a problem when i go into my swing i start to ball up and it causes all sorts of problems any tips?

jump off the ground. move the arms HARD. long and fast trail leg. finish the swing before anything. doing this will help you go up a few poles and jump a foot higher.

Take a look at where you are landing in the pit. That is a good indicater of moving up a pole. If you are landing deep, you probably need to move up, but it is hard to say without actually seeng you vault. There is so much more information needed to make that call online. (For your safety) The next question is which pole to go with. Heavier pole, higher grip, etc. Again, hard to say without seeing you vault.
