Bruise on my forearm when jumping

the good news is that it means your elbow is on the inside of the pole which some vaulters have trouble with. you might not be pressing up with your front arm though. elite vaulters would get that bruise from hitting the pole when they invert (and 'pull' through the finish on the vault), but unless you are getting inverted really really well, then you probobly wouldn't have that problem. a video would be able to show what the problem is . although problem isnt really the right word, because it might not be something wrong with your jump, just a 'side effect'
