getting "inverted"

That's exactly why i have that in my signature block b/c it totally rings true.

anyway, i use to block out. again i grew up with the teachings of the both arms as straight as possible style plant. when it's impossible to whip...whip well anyway...with a blocked bottom arm. i thought it was weird when i saw vaulters have plants where their bottom arms would hit them in the forehead and they could still whip upside like a champ. i'm taking it to the extreme when i mention that but the point is a little flex in the elbow of your bottom arm is fine just as long as it stays rigid into the plant. you want your top hand as high and as straight as possible. the momentum will put you into that reverse C position ready for that ginormous whip action, think "i'm about to kick the piss out of a soccer ball." my only advice is find a training pole which you can bend easily from a short run and work on the whip.
