Tips For A New Kid

Unread postby PV New Kid » Fri Mar 16, 2007 10:33 pm

Today was my first day of pole vault and I think i did okay. By the end of the day i was clearing 8'6", the only problem is that I do not really know what I am doing. My school has no coach and I do not have anyone to teach me tech. or what poles to use. Any beginner mistake you could help me avoid would be well appriciated.

PS- I am 135 to 140lbs
